A gunshot at midnight

The pic you're looking at...was the result of a nine millimeter going off by accident. Not by me, I just took a pic and am blogging about it.

At midnight the owner came home, while wearing that sidearm in a holster, and hung it on the bathroom door.

He went to take it off the doorknob when the gun fell...in his own words "like a stupid ass I tried to catch it".

The gun went off, the round went through the bathroom wall, a bottle of windex on a shelf near the basement steps, and into another wall where a wooden support beam and cinderblock wall inbetween this house & the neighbors stopped the bullet.

Luckily, VERY luckily, some minor damage and a very loud bang were the only bad things that happened. Also temporary hearing loss by the gun owner.
